Many people say that the dow is headed lower as lower corporate earnings come out and the economy worsens. this is true, but depending on your timeframe you may be wrong. for the short to intermediate term, i expect the government to continue QE. this has been pushing the $USD lower and supporting higher market prices. i expect no serious intervention by government in regard to financial regulatory reform anytime soon, so we may see a much higher DOW in 2010.

the time has come for the yellow metal to really take off. in yesterday's session, pm shares were down quite a bit in the early session and gained everything back plus a lot more to close much higher. some made moves over 10%.

this signals to me that there are dip buyers around this area and we've found a nice support area. i'd pay close attention because the markets are overbought. it seems as if these dip buyers don't really give a rats and are buying to buy.

tomorrow should be a nice day for PM shares.

much like my play on GG, RGLD is another great gold mining stock. it needs to clear 34 before making a clear and bold move towards 37. identical to GG in plays, i highly suggest these two for any long portfolio. volatility may be high in the coming months, but with enough discipline you will find them very profitable.
